Staff level responsibility for programming, training, and execution of physical security and crisis management programs at 80+ global industrial sites. This included business level responsibility for Site Security Focal Points, Assessments, Technical Security Systems and Infrastructure, Union Contract Negotiations Contingency Planning, Manned Guarding Global Contract Oversight, sub-business integrations and divestitures and DHS CFATS and C-TPAT Regulatory Programs.
In my role as GE Aviation Crisis Manager, I led the crisis program and functional teams to support GE Leadership in response to major and minor incidents impacting GE employees, GE facilities, and GE products. I established and directed operations at the GE Aviation Response Center (GSOC), a 24x7 intelligence and response center supporting the entire business including Product Crisis Events, Event Security, 80+ GE Aviation sites, 50,000 employees, ~10,000 employee travels throughout the world. Managed numerous major incidents involving Geopolitical events, significant facilities weather-related events and fires, work stoppages, product related concerns, and threats to the business.
Led the security and safety of 50+ events where GE Aviation was a participant of sponsor. This included on-the-ground leadership at GE Shareowners Annual Meetings; Union Contract Negotiations, Air Shows in Paris, Farnborough, Dubai and Singapore; Customer Engagement Events in Turkey, Jordan, South Africa, Tanzania, Czech Republic; USA based Grand openings, Open Houses and site functions, as well as countless remote support and planning of security and safety at smaller events.
